How does SEO work?

Search engines such as Google and Bing use bots to crawl pages on the web, going from site to site, collecting information about those pages and putting them in an index. Think of the index like a giant library where a librarian can pull up a book (or a web page) to help you find exactly what you’re looking for at the time.
Next, algorithms analyse pages in the index, taking into account hundreds of ranking factors or signals, to determine the order pages should appear in the search results for a given query. In our library analogy, the librarian has read every single book in the library and can tell you exactly which one will have the answers to your questions.
Our SEO success factors can be considered proxies for aspects of the user experience. It’s how search bots estimate exactly how well a website or web page can give the searcher what they’re searching for
Unlike paid search ads(SEM), you can’t pay search engines to get higher organic search rankings, which means SEO experts have to put in the work. That’s where we come in.

There are many free tools to help you do this research, but I’d recommend checking out Google Webmaster Tool or UberSuggest.

There are three things you should always focus on when doing keyword research.
  • Relevance – The keyword should match the features of product/service or the problems to solve for customer

  • Competition – How many people are already ranking well for a given keyword and how much effort would it take to get there.

Target a keyword and start publishing content:

Once Product or niche are ready with keyword list, SEO optimizer specialist can start editing existing content or start creating new content that will be related to the defined keywords.

The best way to improve search engine ranking is to write articles about your keyword and publish them on website / social media channels. You should keep the following things in mind while writing your articles to make them SEO friendly.

Simply Write A Content:

Writing a content helps to improve website SEO, content is often write for search engines result. It helps to website crowl and rank website though long tail keyword. Content should be simple and clear, it should easy to read and understand. if Keyword will be focus in content for best SEO at every point, there is a good chance that you will rank well on Google.

Now it is necessary to know that the search engine only goes through the text of content and then decides the relevance of the content for a particular keyword. So instead of spamming keywords in content, try to create value around the keyword with quality content that will ultimately help rank higher.

Use URLs. Tag title, titles tag and meta description wisely:

URL: Every website will automatically generate a URL for article, but it should always check that the URL is understandable and contains a keyword for better ranking.

Title: The title of blog/article should be compelling and should be presented in such a way that the reader feels that this article will help me solve my problems.

Headings: There should only be one <h1> in the content so that search engines can easily understand what this particular article is about.

Meta description: Search engine won’t rank you based on this, but it’s always good to have an optimized meta description because it’s what appears under searches for  keyword and helps users click on links.

Alt-text: In adding images to your blogs, search engines will not be able to scan the images to identify what is being displayed. Thus it should always add alt text and description of the images so that the search engine can understand what all the images are about.

Once there are ready many articles, create a plan and share this content on website and social media pages to increase traffic to website and build authority on Google so that google trusts content and ranks website higher.
